My name is Emily Osborne and I am a DONA trained doula since 2019. I fell in love with the entire birth process when I was pregnant with my 6 year old daughter. It is a passion of mine to provide support for all on their journey to bring MORE LIFE into the world.
In 2021 I explored HypnoBirthing and am currently working on obtaining my certificate after taking the educator classes.
I live in Minneapolis Minnesota and also a passionately active member of a Council on Diversity Equity and Inclusion at Capella University.

HOW WILL HIRING A DOULA AFFECT MY PARTNER’S ROLE DURING THE BIRTH?
Birth doulas are there to support not only the birthing person but also their partner or other people chosen to be there. Doulas do not replace the partner but will encourage and help guide their involvement
IS A DOULA THE SAME THING AS A MIDWIFE?
No, a doula does not provide medical care but will advocate for the birthing person and will provide physical, emotional, and informational support during pregnancy/birth/postpartum.
